One of the first recipes on my first blog Healthynotskinny.nl was a beautiful crab and avocado tartare. I posted it before I decided to only post 100% plant-based recipes on my blog. However, the tartare is so simple and so beautiful that I recreated it with tofu instead of crab. And it’s still absolutely delicious!
I am not 100% vegan, but at home I try to cook plant-based as much as I can. However, I do still occasionally eat (shell-)fish, especially when I’m on vacation or eating in a restaurant. Since I love coming up with plant-based recipes, I made the decision last year to limit my blog to recipes that are entirely vegan. Vegan cooking is not only better for your health and the environment, it is also so creative and so much fun! This tartare is an example of that. I love how simple, beautiful and delicious it is. This cold tartare doesn’t require any cooking and is the perfect summer dish. Serve with a green salad or some toasted bread (yummy). Scroll down for the recipe!
