My photo diary this month is huge, so I’ve split it up into 3(!) parts. I went on holiday for three weeks, to France and Spain, and I made hundreds of photos. Too many for one photo diary. In this first edition, I am in the South of France. Enjoy!
On our way to the sun!
First stop at my boyfriend’s parents house in France, about 700km from home. Perfect first stop and it’s so beautiful there.
The perfect welcome!
We have arrived! Clear-blue skies and 30 degrees. Yay! This was our hotel in Cassis, where we stayed for one night. Cassis is really beautiful (and really busy!).
The only downside was the sea water: it was really cold (about 16 degrees). Apparently it has something to do with the wind. I’m not a fan.
Breakfast at the hotel: fruit and coffee. My ideal breakfast.
Next stop: Cavalaire-sur-Mer. By day.
And by night.
This is one of my favorite spots in Cavalaire. It’s near a beautiful hotel called Le Calanque where we had lunch and swam in their beautiful pool. The views are amazing.
My favorite holiday gadget: a waterproof phone case. It’s so cool, you can take pictures and film underwater. It works really well.
After Cavalaire we stayed in Villefrance-sur-Mer at a hotel called Le Versailles, which I highly recommend. The rooms are big and all have a gorgeous sea view. The hotel also has a pool and a great buffet breakfast. We stayed at this hotel for almost two weeks.
Beautiful views! I love France.
More photos of the hotel.
Monaco from above.
And up close.
Views from the hotel at night.
The harbor of Beaulieu-sur-Mer.
Tomorrow I’ll post the second part of my August photo diary, with more photos in Villefranche-sur-Mer, Monaco and Cap d’Ail – my favorite places in the South of France. See you then!
