Time for a new photo diary! There was a lot going on this month; blogger events, dance parties and I went on a short break to Ibiza! I took so many photos there that it deserves a seperate photo diary, which I’ll post next week. Here are my most memorable June moments.
First, I went to Flying Dutch with my boyfriend, brother and his group of friends. The weather was un-Dutchlike: sunny and warm and it was an amazing day.
I went to a fair called Love for Life with my sister. It was really cool; lots of yoga, fitness, good food (vegan!) and inspiring workshops. Also, this ‘bucket list wall’. It was really amazing to read everyone’s life wishes.
Oh, and I finally bought Spanx this month! And I’m not ashamed to say it! All women should own this miraculous underwear. I bought two thongs and they are my life! Whenever I wear a really tight dress or skirt these thongs are a lifesaver! No little flabs of skin or fat anywhere. Why didn’t I buy these earlier? I have no idea.
I also visited a food blogger conference this month, in Amsterdam, which was really cool. Also a little intimidating, since the speakers were so far ahead of me, but it’s good to realize you have lots to learn. I met some really great people and had an awesome day (all by myself!).
Can you believe that vegan camembert cheese exists? I have to be honest, it’s very different from the real thing. Number one: it doesn’t melt. Number two: I kind of miss the ‘cheesy’ flavor. But it’s still pretty good, especially as a snack or on a piece of toast. Pretty amazing and entirely plant-based! Thanks to my sister who got it for me!
Did I mention it was a sunny month in Holland? I spent too much time sitting in the sun, drinking wine and enjoying (vegan) snacks. Guilt-free, because this is my favorite time of the year. Remember: happiness is healthy and these moments make me very happy!
Dining at Sumo also makes me very happy, which is what my boyfriend and I did in Amsterdam earlier this month. We went to Amsterdam to view a short movie called ‘Dead Bob’ in which my brother starred. Yes, he was Bob. But first: dinner. At Sumo.
